John Gilbert of San Antonio went to be with his lord and savior at the age of 68 on November 25, 2022.
John is survived by his wife, Doris; Children Jonathan, Robin, and Misty; Parent, Nettie; Nieces and Nephews, Tammie, Jamie, and Jacob; dogs, Lilo and Stitch; as well as by 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. John is preceded in death by his spouse, Sandy; daughter, Michelle; brother, James; father, Lewis; grandparents, Marvin and Hazel Gilbert; as well as by his dogs, cookie, crybaby, and lion.
John was a loving soul and a believer. He retired as a truck driver after 25 years in the industry. His family can recall his funny stories of how he would tell his stories of his dinosaur hunting adventures. He will be truly loved and missed by all who knew him.
