Joel L. Aguilera, II's Obituary
Joel L. “Joey” Aguilera, II, at the age of 25, died November 5, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic accident. He was born October 30, 1991. The son of Joel L. Aguilera and Susie E. Flores. He attended and graduated from Frank M. Tejeda Academy in 2011.Joel was a local musician and talented drummer, whom had the pleasure of performing with the bands “Pride” and “Arise From Ruins”. He loved hardcore music, swimming, fishing and spending time with his friends. He was the youngest of six, uncle of eleven and a friend to many. We all have memories that will last a lifetime, some more than others, but all we know is his life was cut way to short and although he is gone the many memories we have will live with us forever. Joel is preceded in death by his father, Joel Luis Aguilera and grandmother, Augustina E. Flores. Joel is survived by his mother Susie Flores; his three young children Malaysia (7), Joel C. (5) and Daemien L. Aguilera (2). Sisters Michelle Lopez (Leo), Christina Perez (Edward), Yvette Valenzuela (Xavier) and brothers Alfred and Isaac Valenzuela. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Anna Gutierrez, nephews and nieces Jeremy, Gabriel, Breanne, Christopher, Mathew, Edward, Ismael, Ivy, Angelo, Emily, Danette and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Camero Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary beginning at 7pm. A second visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday November 15, 2016. The funeral will then proceed to Our Lady of the Angels Church for an 11:00 a.m. Mass. Burial will follow at First Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations on his gofundme.com account under “Leo Lopez.” Donations can also be taken straight to the funeral home.
