Joe R. Vasquez's Obituary
It is with heavy heart and extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our father/grandfather (Popo), Joe Raymond Vasquez Sr., 69. on July 27, 2022.
He touched the lives of so many people. As you all know, Joe was a hard-working man and always lent a helping hand to anyone that was in need. No job was too great or too small to handle, it was just in his nature to be there. God gifted him this talent and he utilized it in his last days even during his battle with cancer. We respect him even more for what he has gone through because he selflessly did it for his family. We can honestly say that cancer did not take him from us.
We put our trust in god and only god knows the reasons why. He will forever be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and soldier. We will cherish the memories we had with him, knowing he is smiling down on us all. We continue to ask for prayers for strength and healing.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Adolph and Guadalupe Ortiz. He is survived by his wife, Silvia Vasquez; Sons Joe Raymond Vasquez Jr. and Adrian Vasquez (Ruby); Brothers Arturo Bonilla, Roy Bonilla (Vangie), Jesse Ortiz (Melissa); 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
