Joe Anthony Olivares, Jr. "WERO"'s Obituary
Joe Anthony Olivares, Jr. or “WERO” as his family and friends knew him was born on Wednesday June 2, 1993 and passed on to be with his mother and God our Father on Saturday January 20, 2024 at the age of 30. He is survived by his family who loves him very much – Grandparents, father, sister, brothers, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends. Wero was the biggest Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan. He knew every team player by their name, history, and statistics. He loved making music, food, and people laugh. He thrived in everything he set his mind to and excelled in football and in his music. He was an aspiring songwriter, with several songs released, was an artist and resonated with his favorite artist xxxtentacion. Wero had the biggest heart, was extremely loyal, and would do anything for his family. He was super smart, kind, funny, handsome, strong, loving, stubborn, loyal, generous, and had the best laugh. Wero had a very full life and even though his time was cut short, his impact on all of the people around him will never be forgotten. He was loved by so many and would want everyone to remember him as he was and for all of us to “Stay Golden”.
Services will be held at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church on Friday February 2, 2024. The rosary will begin at 11:30 am followed by the Mass at 12:00 pm noon.
