Joe Alejandro Mena, age 80 passed away peacefully the morning of January 28, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Eva G. Mena who he was married to for 56 wonderful years. His children include Jose A. Mena wife Elvira, Michael A. Men Read Obituary

He was the best grandfather a granddaughter could ever ask for. Somehow he always knew when I needed that little extra "pick me up" especially when I was going back to school.
I'm going to miss our random phone calls to each other, his advice, (that i didn't know I needed at the time) and his big sense of humor.
I thank him for the life lessons/advice he gave me, from marriage to school and work and even pregnancy advice to help with morning sickness (even though that advice was still in the research stages by doctors)
Not a day will pass where I won't need some of his wisdom.
I'll love you forever and always.
