Joe A. Jimenez entered into eternal rest on July 8, 2024, at the age of 82. Joe was born to Jose and Leonor Jimenez on January 6, 1942, in San Antonio, TX. Joe retired from Kelly AFB after 30 years. Joe proudly served overseas, as an aircraft mechanic with the US Navy Reserves. He enjoyed photography, painting and horse racing. His favorite movie was Seabiscuit. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling. Joe is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Leonor Jimenez, Sisters: Carmen Sanchez and Teresa Ramirez, and his brother: Carlos Jimenez. Joe is survived by 2 Sons: Gabriel Jimenez (Alma), John Jimenez, 3 Grandchildren: Richard Gabriel (Erika), Marisabel Jimenez, Gabby Jimenez, Siblings: 4 brothers: Frank Jimenez (Betty), Al Jimenez (Rita), Felipe Jimenez (Kathy), Jerry Jimenez, 2 Sisters: Mary Garcia, Rosie Trevino (Felipe Perez), Sister-in-law: Dolores Jimenez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
