Joe M. Casiano's Obituary
Joe M. Casiano, born November 14, 1932 to Simon Casiano and Maria Malacara Casiano in San Antonio, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Mr. Casiano was preceded in death by his wife, Ofelia Casiano. He is survived by his sons, Joe Casiano (Margie) and Robert Casiano (Julia); daughters, Norma Castellanos, Maria Casiano (Gabriel), and Diane Martinez (Joey); brother, Simon Casiano, Jr.; sister, Juanita Castillo; 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and many friends. Mr. Casiano will be remembered for his love of family and sense of humor. He enjoyed attending family gatherings and parties. He loved the sport of Baseball, often coaching Little League teams, he enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. He also liked to fish at the coast and hunt with his brothers. He was a fan of wrestling, attending local matches and watching the sport on the television. He enjoyed watching college football games and was a huge Washington Redskins fan. He and his brothers founded “Casiano’s Custom Cabinets” in 1976, a legacy of the Casiano Name. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will begin on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held Thursday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
