Jessie M. Hernandez's Obituary
Jessie M. Hernandez passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026 at the age of 83. He was born on October 03, 1942 to Modesto and Maria Hernandez in San Antonio, Texas.
He will be remembered for his smile and dancing. Through childhood and into adulthood he came to love working on cars and race cars. He enjoyed all types of music, western movies, western and wrestling shows and was a big fan of John Wayne.
Jessie, is preceded in death by his wife Vicenta Valenzuela, parents, Modesto and Maria Hernandez, brother Julian Hernandez and grandchildren Matthew and Amber.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Kris), sons, Leonard, Joe (Stella), Benjamin (Alma) and grandchildren, Ashley, Kiana, Nathaniel, Liam Aidan and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister, Felicitas Lares, step children, Sylvia Uvalle, Gloria Uvalle, Maria (Jaime), Lorenzo (Dolores), Augustine and numerous nieces and nephews.
