Jeffrey William Bofferding's Obituary
Jeffrey William Bofferding, age 61, joined our savior Jesus Christ in eternal rest on May 30th, 2025. A devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and respected veteran, Jeff lived a life defined by service, strength, and deep commitment to his family.
Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Bofferding; his children, William Bofferding (wife Teresa), Christopher Bofferding (wife Ruby), and Rena Bofferding (partner Justin Trejo); and his cherished grandchildren, Evelyn Bofferding, Jason Trejo, Hailee Bofferding, Kimberlee Bofferding, Nicholas Bofferding, and Grace Trejo. He is also survived by his brothers, Joel Bofferding and Michael Bofferding.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jean Bofferding. As the oldest of three siblings, Jeff led by example with quiet strength and a dependable presence.
Jeff honorably served in the United States Marine Corps for 12 years, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6). During his military career, he completed two tours in Okinawa and was deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm. His service was marked by discipline, loyalty, and courage, and he received an honorable discharge after faithfully serving his country.
Those who knew Jeff will remember his deep love for his family, his unwavering work ethic, and his pride in being a veteran, husband, father and a grandfather.
A memorial service to honor Jeff’s life will be held at First Memorial Park Cemetery on July 2nd, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
