Janie R. Resendez's Obituary
Janie R. Resendez, born in San Antonio, Texas on January 6, 1950 passed on Friday, December 2, 2016. Mrs. Resendez was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Jacinto Resendez and San Juanita Rodriguez Resendez; sisters, Blanca Coronado, Jessie Rodriguez, Olga Rosas, Teresa Pedroza, and Josie Cardenas; and brothers, Willis Hall, and James Hall. She is survived by her husband, Fidel Romero, Jr.; daughter, Laura Garza and husband Patricio, son, Fidel Romero, III, daughter, Leticia Resendez and husband Amador, son, Juan L. Resendez and wife Brenda, son, Vincent Resendez and wife, Bettina, son, Daniel Medina, and daughter, Sara Jasso and husband Louis; brothers, Joe Resendez, Jr., Paul Resendez, and Emmett Hall; sisters, Celia Arce and Lucinda Arrendondo; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Resendez loved her grandchildren, she liked music and enjoyed to dance. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and she decorated and filled her home with joy. Mrs. Resendez will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary Service will be recited on Tuesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements under the direction of Camero Funeral Home.
