Israel Perez, born on June 18, 1948 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 77. Israel is survived by his wife, Rosario Perez; children, Lorena Rodriguez, Saul Perez, Raul Perez, Hector Perez; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous cousins and daughter in laws; and siblings, Aurelia González, Altagracia Pardo, Martha Nielson, Juan Blas Pérez, Maria de Jesús Niño, Juan José Pérez, and Ruth N. Valencia.
Israel Perez was a man of deep faith who believed in God and in His Son, Jesus Christ. He lived by the principles of hard work, understanding that providing for life’s necessities was both a duty and a blessing. A faithful tithe payer, Israel trusted in the promises of heaven, knowing that generosity and obedience would open windows of divine provision. He was a devoted family man, always placing the needs of his loved ones and others before his own. His life was a testament to service, faith, and enduring love.
Israel emigrated to the United States at a young age in pursuit of a better life. A devoted provider, he worked tirelessly in many roles to support his family. Gifted with many talents, he ultimately found his true calling in the construction trades. Known for his determination and unwavering work ethic, he never accepted “no” as an answer and could build anything from the ground up. His hands shaped a lasting legacy of remodeled homes and restaurants, many completed side by side with his loved ones. His dedication and craftsmanship will be remembered by all who knew him.
