Isabel Hernandez's Obituary
Isabel Hernandez entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2025, at the age of 88. Isabel is preceded in death by her father; Hermeregildo Lomas, mother; Paula Hernandez Lomas, spouse; Miguel Hernandez, daughters; Elida Gonzalez, and Celia Garza. Son; Miguel Jr., brothers; Eusebio and Domingo. Twin sister; Irene Menchaca, and grandson; Steve Barrera Jr. Isabel is survived by her daughters; Elva Vega (Baldomero), and Elda Aleman (Andrew). Son in law; Johnny Gonzalez (Elida). Isabel had 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 4 great- great grandchildren that she loved so much with all her heart. Numerous of nieces and nephews. Many of Isabel's hobbies included playing bingo, gambling, bowling and dancing. She also loved listening to oldies and her favorite of all time Daddy Yankie. Please come and join the family of Isabel Hernandez as we gather to honor and pay tribute to a wonderful mother and beautiful life lived. Services are as follows:
Monday- January 27, 2025
4p.m.-8p.m.- Visitation to be held at Texas Funeral Home, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. With a rosary to be recited at 6:30p.m.
Tuesday- January 28, 2025
8a.m.-9a.m.- Visitation at Texas Funeral Home
9:30a.m.- Departure from funeral home with police escorts
10a.m.- Mass at Our Lady of Angels, 1214 Stonewall St, San Antonio, TX 78211
11:30a.m.- Burial service at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073
Services will be led by police procession
