Helen Barron Salinas' Obituary
Helen Barron Salinas, born June 30th, 1950 to Felix Barron Jr and Adela Mauricio Barron. She was called home to the Lord on September 29, 2024.
Preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Barron, Jr, her husband Albert Salinas, Jr, grandson Nicholas David Trevino, son-in-law David Trevino and brother Ruben.
Surviving Helen are her daughter Veronica Trevino (Mick) and son, Albert Salinas III. Also surviving her are her beloved grandchildren, Curtis, Summer, Chris, Pricilla, Rachel, Abcde, Madelyn, and great grandchildren, Aleah, Vaylor, Elijah, Jayce, Kailani, Khleo; sisters Linda (Rick), Allison, and brother Tony; sisters-in-law, Terry, Yolanda, Linda and Eva, also numerous nieces, nephews, family members and lifelong friends, Norma, Laura, Elsa and Yolanda.
Helen knew the Lord and her church family was always there with prayers and encouragement.
Helen had the gifts of humility and kindness. She never thought of herself, was extremely friendly, very sociable and gave you her full attention. She liked everyone, and people responded to Helen by immediately liking her back. Helen had an infectious smile and knew no strangers. She would start a conversation with people everywhere she went. She was welcomed everywhere and laughed easily. She enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. She made people feel like they were the most important people in her life.
Services will be at Camero Funeral Home, on Friday October 11. A private viewing will be from 12:30 to 1:30; Service begins at 2:00 and visitation continues until 5:00 pm. Burial will be private at a later date.
