Hector C. Martinez born July 25, 1956 to Felipe B. Martinez and Beatrice Cortez Martinez in San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the age of 64 years. Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Martinez; son and daughter in law, Hector and Margarita Martinez; daughters, Jeanette Hernandez and Genevieve Martinez; brothers, Alex Martinez, Felipe Martinez, Jr., Ernesto Martinez, and Daniel Martinez; sisters, Evangelina Rangel, Elena Wellman, and Rosa Pineda; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; also numerous other family members and many friends. Mr. Martinez met the love of his life, Mary Helen at a local dance. They married and remained by each other’s side for the next 47 years raising their family together. Mr. Martinez enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He liked to Bar B Que and go camping. He enjoyed the outdoors, listening to music and gardening. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan and would watch the football game every chance he had. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Memorial Park Cemetery. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home.
