Guadalupe L. Gomez's Obituary
In Loving memory of Guadalupe Gomez or Lupe as she was known to those closest to her. Lupe was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister and Aunt.
She passed away surrounded by her closest family on March 7, 2018 at 65 years of age. She was daughter to the late Macario and Juanita Palomo. She is survived by her Loving Husband of 39 years Roman Gomez Jr., Her daughter Sue Alice Gomez (Jason Cantu) and her two Granddaughters who were her “Pride and Joy” Gabriela Lee Monsivais and Lilliana Kimberly Cantu. She is also survived by her sisters Velia Palomo, Alice Palomo, Margie Guerrero (the Late Armando Guerrero), Estella Acosta (Ernest Acosta), and she was preceded in death by her only brother Rudy “Spanky” Palomo (Lupe C. Palomo). She has many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly (Lisa, Adriana, & Vanessa Palomo, Fernando & Orlando Guerrero, and Marcella & Marco Zapata)
Lupe was a hardworking woman who started doing yards with her Father and Brother Rudy at a young age, and she continued to work hard her whole life. She was a creative woman who loved arts and crafts, liked to work in her yard, loved a good Spurs game and a cold Miller Lite. Lupe loved to cook and she excelled in baking. You would find Lupe in her kitchen every Christmas baking all kinds of cookies, treats and bunuelos on New Year’s Eve. She Loved to play softball and country music and she Loved George Strait.
Lupe loved all of her family very much, she loved her friends all of whom she considered her family. She loved to laugh and smile and she left a lasting impression on everyone she met, and she will be dearly missed.
Memorial service will be Friday March 23, 2018 at Camero Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10am – 11am and Rosary/Service will begin at 11:00am.
