Guadalupe De La Garza's Obituary
Guadalupe De La Garza, born May 3, 1939, passed away on May 25, 2026. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Tomas M. De La Garza Jr.; parents, Jesus Garza and Ester H. Garcia; siblings, Luis Garcia, Anselmo Garcia, Jesus Garcia Jr., Maria Parker, and Petra Solorzan; son, Ricardo De La Garza; and great-grandson, Roman Rey Jimenez.
She is survived by her siblings, Enrique Garcia, Pauline Martinez, and Frances Ozuna; children, Josefina (Pablo) Bermudez, George (Barbara) De La Garza, Reynaldo (Terry) De La Garza, Martin De La Garza, and Tomas De La Garza III; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Our mother was a very kind, loving, and hard-working woman. She always had a smile and kind and encouraging words for everybody. She will be missed by everyone who knew her, especially her family.
Services will be held at Camero Funeral Home on Monday, June 8, 2026, with the visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and the rosary service 6:00 p.m. Services will continue Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church with a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. and the committal service to follow at Brown Cemetery.
