Gilbert Peña, Jr. was embraced by the Lord on April 30, 2025. Gilbert was born on October 24, 1947, in Somerset, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilberto Peña, Sr; and his mother, Blasita Peña. He is loved and will be missed by his wife, Guadalupe Peña; sons, Victor and Gilbert, III; daughter, Rosalinda (Rey); five grandchildren, Vanity (Alberto), BJ, Destiny, Gilbert Anthony (Angelica) and Naythan (Arianna); three great-grandchildren, Joel, Luke and Leon; brothers, Domingo, Johnny and Daniel; sisters, Elsa, Connie, Lucia, Anita and Terry; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Gilbert worked for Toyota for many years. He retired from San Antonio Auto Auction. After retirement, Gilbert was a dedicated man who always took pride in his yard. He was known for keeping the lawn mowed and clean at his church and other yards entrusted to him. Gilbert will be missed by all his family and friends.
