Gilbert Hernandez's Obituary
Gilbert Hernandez from Poteet, Texas passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 64. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan & Estella Hernandez and sister Genoveva Hernandez. He is survived by his wife Angie M. Hernandez, sons, Gilbert John Hernandez, Christopher Hernandez, Michael Hernandez (Tanya), daughters, Anna Marie Hernandez, Cynthia Arevalo, brother John Hernandez, sister Maria J. Claycomb-Ralph, 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Gilbert is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
Visitation will be held at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. interment will follow at Madre Dolorosa Cemetery #1.
