Gilbert E. Davila's Obituary
In Loving Memory OfGilbert Edward Davila“Gordo”August 26, 1973-March 6, 2016Gilbert was called home on Sunday March 6, 2016 at the age of 42. I must say, one of the advantages of dying, besides going to see “How Far Is Heaven,” was peacefully flying away from My Loving and Beautiful Wife, “Cupcakes” (Sol) who otherwise, would have loved me forever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever. AKA El Gordo, loved everyone, he was a family man.So everyone he met, naturally became his “familia.”He loved watching “his movies/guns,” he must have watched “Goodfellas” a thousand times, (and that was just in one day). UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, Carnalismos,Pocos Pero Lokos -EL Gordo-Gilbert is preceded by death, by his loving parents, Pipo and Rosa Davila. He is survived, by his Beau-ti-ful Wife Irene, and his Beautiful five children, Jaquel, Messiah, Dyani, Ilena, & Demetri Davila, his grandson Landin, numerous family and friends (just to name a few) Gilbert’s two sisters, Sully and Michelle, and his beloved brother Albert; Ruben and Grace, Eriq, Alyiah, Daniel, Richard Star, Erik and Marie, Mona, Chato, Frank, and Juan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 4-9 pm, Rosary at 7 pm.Services will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10 am. At Camero Funeral Home
