Gerardo Alvarez was born on June 12, 1973, to Reynaldo Sanchez Sr. and Carmen Sanchez in San Antonio, TX. Gerardo passed away on June 18, 2021, at the age of 48. Gerardo is preceded in death by his parents; Reynaldo and Carmen Sanchez; Brothers; Gabriel Alvarez Jr. and Aurelio Alvarez Sr.; Nephew Vincent Cortez and Brother In Law; Rudy Salazar; Arturo Alvarado. Gerardo is survived by 5 sisters; 2 brothers; Carmen Guerra, Celestina Cardenas, Juanita Alvarez, Nancy Alvarado and Angelita Gonzales. Brothers; Abel Alvarez and Reynaldo Sanchez Jr.
Gerardo will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. He loved being outdoors. He enjoyed going fishing with friends and family. Being outside with his roosters. He was forever messing around with his birds. He would attend family functions as much as he could. He loved sitting outside with his family at BBQs making everyone laugh. We will always have fond memories with Gerardo. He will be truly missed but never forgotten. Rest in paradise ‘Tio Jerry’
