Genesis A. Ortega's Obituary
Genesis Aide Ortega born June 18, 2001 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 18 years. Our Beloved Genesis was preceded in death by her biological mother, Angelica Maria Ortega. She is survived by her parents, David S. and Elizabeth Ortega; sister, Amaris Ortega; brother, David Alexander Ortega; maternal grandparents, Elisandro Sr. and Olivia Del Toro; paternal grandparents, Policarpo and Guadalupe Ortega; also numerous other relatives and many friends. Genesis was a Baptized member with the Church of God 7th Day at Willard Street. She was a member of the Worship Team and was involved with the Youth Group at her Church. Genesis graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School. Genesis would dog sit for her neighbor, and worked for Santikos Embassy as a member service. Genesis had a beautiful smile and she loved to make people laugh. She enjoyed singing and Selena was her favorite singer. She was active in sports and loved the San Antonio Spurs. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 4 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Prayer Service is scheduled for Thursday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel.
