Gabriel S. Cerda passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. He was born in Lytle, Texas on September 1, 1950 to Guadalupe and Conrado Cerda.
Gabriel will be united in heaven with his parents Guadalupe and Conrado Cerda; and sister Ermalinda De La Cruz.
Gabriel’s memory will forever live in the hearts of his loved one's; Wife Teresa Cerda; Children Gabriel Cerda Jr.(Connie), Conrad Cerda(Kristy), Josie Lopez (Husband Adam), Ricky Cerda (Marcelina); Brothers Joe Serda, Frank Serda, Conrado Cerda; sisters Esperanza Rodriguez, Maria Benavidez, Estela Cerda; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gabriel had a passion for football and baseball; he loved the Texas Longhorns as well as the New York Yankees.
Gabriel will be missed by those who knew him.
A visitation for Gabriel will be held Monday, May 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211. A rosary will occur Monday, May 20, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 9883 Marbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78245. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
