Fred Acosta Moreno's Obituary
Fred Acosta Moreno born January 5, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas to Francisco Moreno and Antonia Acosta Moreno passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the age of 82 years. Mr. Moreno is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elida S. Moreno; sons, Alfredo Moreno, Jr. (Fermina), Rodolfo Moreno (Maria), and Eddie Moreno (Deida); daughters, Elisa M. Garza (Victor), Elvia S. Moreno, and Elvira M. Posadas (Angel); brothers, Ramon Moreno, Jesse Moreno, and Rodolfo Moreno; sisters, Elida Cano, Velia Espinoza, Ernestina Rivera, and Mary Lou Cerna; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives, and many friends. Mr. Moreno was a quiet man with a sense of humor, enjoyed relaxing, listening to music, reading the newspaper, watching the news and baseball on the television. He also enjoyed carpentry work and gardening. Mr. Moreno retired from SouthWest School District. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Memorial Park Cemetery. Everyone is to meet at the grave. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home.
