Frank Roy Phillips' Obituary
Frank Roy Phillips passed away with peace on Friday, November 13, 2015 with his family by his side. Frank is survived by his dedicated wife, Aurora Phillips; son, Frank Joseph Phillips and wife Joanna; granddaughter Ruby Louise.Son of Samuel W. Phillips and Edna Faye (Siglar) Phillips, Frank was born in Decatur, Texas and graduated from Jourdanton High School in 1961. After graduating, Frank attended Durham Business College in San Antonio, where he studied electronic data processing. To continue his technical studies, Frank joined the United States Air Force, and served as an electronic technician for 4 years.Upon completing his U.S. Air Force service, Frank obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from Southwest Texas State University, where he was a charter member of the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity. After obtaining his degree, Frank took a job with the Walgreens Company, and met his wife, Aurora. Their son, Frank Joseph (Joe) was born in 1974 and they moved to Houston shortly after, to raise their son and advance their careers.A dedicated processional in the oil and gas industry, Frank’s interest and fascination with technical and electrical assembly fueled his long career and professional passions for many decades.His generous ways and responsible nature made him a devoted father and loving husband, both of which he will always be remembered as. He leaves us rich in memories.We miss him, and look forward to meeting him again!
