Francisco Lopez Vasquez Jr.'s Obituary
Francisco Lopez Vasquez Jr. passed away peacefully on September 28th, 2025, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. At 70 years old, he left behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion. Born on August 3rd, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas, Francisco dedicated his life to serving his community as an auto mechanic and commercial truck driver. He attended Edison High School in Texas, where he met his high school sweetheart, Herlinda Ortiz, and they shared a beautiful marriage of 49 years. Francisco's passion for pool led him to participate in numerous leagues and tournaments, and he later retired to focus on his family. Throughout his life, he cherished the memories created with his loved ones. As a faithful fan of the San Francisco 49ers and San Antonio Spurs, Francisco's faith in God was his guiding principle. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Francisco is survived by his loving wife, Herlinda Ortiz Vasquez; son, Francisco Vasquez; Daughter in law Melissa Vasquez
Daughter, Melinda Luna and son in law Larry Luna, and Daughter Jennifer Aguilar and son in law Joaquin Aguilar; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Details of the funeral service will be provided by the funeral director.
