Federico C. Alaquines, born on March 9, 1939 in Lytle, Texas, passed away at his home in Somerset, Texas on June 2, 2025 at the age of 86. Federico is preceded in death by his parents, Maria Campos and Lazaro Alaquines; Sylvia Alaquinez, Josie Alaquinez, Luis Alaquinez, Delfino Alaquinez, Antonio Alaquinez, and Reyes Flores. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Alaquinez; children, Sylvia Alaquinez, Elena Ramirez, Mary Ardon, Martha Alaquinez, Josie Alaquinez, Monica Sell, Margie Rico, Jimmy Alaquinez, Fred Alaquinez; grandchildren, Crystal Ardon, Francisco Ardon, Lorena Ardon, Jose Ardon Jr., Florencio Sell, Erica Landin, Jimmy Alaquinez Jr., Monique Alaquinez, Fred Alaquinez Jr., Benjamin Alaquinez, Mya Alaquinez, Fernando Rico, Jr.; siblings, Lazaro Alaquinez, Eusebio Alaquinez, Delfino Alaquinez, Luis Alaquinez, Antonio Alaquinez, Reyes Flores; as well as other family, Melody Alaquinez, Maisy Alaquinez, Makayla Ardon, Dominik Ardon, Francisco Ardon Jr., Layla Ardon; and his beloved pets, Panda and Chewy. He enjoyed ranching, shopping, spending time with family, and listening to music -- especially with the accordion. Federico will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
