Eva H. Escamilla's Obituary
Our Eva, loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, cousin, aunt, and friend has gone to be with our Lord. Eva was born in Poteet, Texas on May 20, 1955 to Fransica Heredia and Leon Escamilla. Eva worked as a home health provider many years and was also employed by the Jourdanton Post Office for 13 years. Eva spent her time caring for her many cats, dogs, fish, birds, ducks, bunnies, and ferrets. Eva’s green thumb was always on display, she could bring the saddest plant back to its glory! The smell of homemade tortillas, delicious food, and good music will be greatly missed. Eva is preceded in death by her mother, Fransica Heredia, and son in law Ruben Navarro. She is survived by her son, Alex “Chico” Escamilla and wife Margaret; daughters, Emilie Navarro and husband Ruben (deceased), Valerie Escamilla, Alicia Rodriguez and Tony Garcia, Amy Garcia and husband Brian, Mandy Bosquez and husband Ruben Sr.; grandchildren, Troy Escamilla, Trey Elizabeth Escamilla, Shaneil Escamilla, Antonia Rivera, Jasmine Marie Chavez, Krystal Lopez, Natasha Escamilla, Mariah Gloria, Ashley Bermudez, Sergio Cruz, Diego Gloria, Klarissa Gloria, Evalynn Garcia, Ruben Bosquez Jr., Mason Bosquez, Jacelynn Bosquez, Bianca Gloria; great grandchildren, Unique, Baby Z, Jayden Rodriguez; brothers, Valentine Escamilla, Gonzalo “Chale” Escamilla; sisters, Maria Pena, Lillie Escamilla, Anita Pena, and Rose Marie Escamilla. Visitation will begin on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Camero Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will be held Monday Evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
