Ernestina R. Herrera was called home to be with our Lord on June 13, 2025, at the age of 74. She is survived by her husband Reymundo Herrera, children, Gabriel Benavides spouse Norma Sanchez, Guadalupe McGinty spouse Don McGinty, Francisco Javier Benavides spouse Gabriela Benavides, Emilia Benavides, Alberto Benavides, grandchildren, Andrew Benavides spouse Victoria Vogel, Anabelle Benavides, Gabriel Jude Garcia, Mathias Garcia, Isabel Garcia, Nayeli Benavides, Javier Benavides, Priscilla Duron spouse Andreas Duron, Angelica Fuentes, Angel Fuentes, Niko Emiliano Maldonaldo, one great grandchild Xavier Benavides. Ernestina worked for Somerset ISD for many years. She loved all plants, gardening and cooking for her family. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 3:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M. On Friday, June 20, 2025, visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 A.M. Interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
