Enrique "Henry" Rodriguez Jr.'s Obituary
Enrique “Henry” Rodriguez, Jr. born January 11, 1941 in Somerset Texas, passed away in San Antonio, Texas on April 9, 2020 at the age of 79 years. Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his Parents Tomasa Moreno and Enrique Rodriguez, Sr., his brother Jesse “Pene” Rodriguez and his son Michael Henry Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his siblings: Daniel J. Ytuarte Sr. and wife Mary, Josefa, Anita, Rachel and husband Albert. He is also survived by his Children, Henry Rodriguez and wife Anna and Jeffery L. Rodriguez and wife Sonia. Nine Grandchildren; Five Great Grandchildren; He was a proud veteran of the US Army Second Armored Division “Hell on Wheels.” He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, kind and compassionate spirit and his generosity for helping others. He loved his family and always put others before himself. He loved telling stories of his childhood days and the time he spent in the army. His hobbies include making clocks for friends and family. His other passion was his plants and vegetable garden. He loved spending time relaxing on his favorite recliner watching the news, his black and white western movies, the Spurs and of course wrestling, which he inherited from his mother Tomasa. Nothing made him happier then to have his family and friends over for a get together and barbecue. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family only visitation is scheduled for Friday April 17, 2020 at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel from 8:30 am to 9:30 a.m. with limitation of 10 family members at a time. Public visitation is scheduled from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with the 10 guest rule in effect as well. Rosary services will commence at 11:00 am and is reserved for 10 family members only. Funeral services will begin at 11:30 am which is reserved for 10 family members only as well. Burial services will take place at First Memorial Park Cemetery at 12:15 pm. First Memorial Park will also be enforcing the 10 guest rule at the cemetery and currently it will be family only.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be following the current Covid-19 rules and regulations which will limit 10 guests inside at a time. Family and friends are encouraged to wear masks but they are not required. The family asks that any well wishes can be written on the online register book at www.camerofuneralhome.com
