Enrique A. Carrasco's Obituary
Enrique A. Carrasco, born in Prairie Lea, Texas on June 7, 1931, to Antonio and Teresa Arcisio Carrasco, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 surrounded by his family. Mr. Carrasco was preceded in death by his son, Enrique Carrasco, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Sara Carrasco; sister, Juanita Fernandez; daughters, Olga Stafford, Celia Lomas, and Reyes Carrasco; grandchildren, Benny Hernandez, Cynthia Hernandez, Tony Resendez, Daniel Lomas, Mark Lomas, Chris Lomas, Roger Longoria, Stephanie Carrasco, Ricky Carrasco, Jacob Carrasco, and Crystal Carrasco; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives. Mr. Carrasco was a long time resident of Poteet, Texas. He spent the majority of his work life in the construction business and laying foundation for commercial and residential buildings. He was well known and loved in the community in which he lived with many friends and family. His best friend, whom he was very close to, David “Botas” Martinez, of Poteet, will miss him dearly. Visitation will begin on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 274 Avenue H., Poteet. A Rosary Service will be held on Sunday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. Everyone is to meet at Church. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
