Emil Frank Noll Sr.'s Obituary
Emil Frank Noll, Sr., of Castroville, Texas, passed away December 11, 2025, at the age of 88. He was born November 6, 1937, in St. Vincent, Arkansas, to Herman Anton Noll and Margaret Burgener Noll.
Emil graduated from Dilley High School. On November 29, 1958, he married Josephine Louise Brown in Cotulla, Texas. Emil worked as a farm hand, oil field waterboy, driller, machine shop, and Builder’s Square, as well as a carpenter. When his sons were young, he would coach their Little League baseball teams.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine ‘Jo’ Noll of Castroville; sons, Thomas Noll (Shelley) of Stockdale and Steven Noll (Cynthia) of Castroville; eight grandchildren, Amanda Salcido (Scott), Joseph Noll, Dustin Noll (Jennifer), Emily Lusch (Richard), Chelsey Noll (Gilbert), Ricky Duarte, Charlene Noll, and Samantha Noll; nine great-grandchildren, Shae Salcido, Alyson Salcido, Waylon Noll, Wrenleigh Noll, Bailey Linscott, Robbie Lusch, Charlotte Lusch, Carter Noll, and Wyatt Noll; brother, Herman Noll, Jr., and sister, Martha Payne.
Emil was preceded in death by his parents; son, Emil “Buster” Frank Noll, Jr.; infant sons, Herman Noll and Joseph A. Noll; sister, Marie Hutzler; and brothers, Joseph Noll, Charles Noll Sr., and Norman Noll.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at St. Louis Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 State Hwy 16 S., Von Ormy, Texas.
