When I was a child, my Aunt Beth was one of the most fun grown ups to be around. Such a laugh and so much energy! Always had time for those she loved.
As we prepare to bury my mother this week, I think back to happier days when my Aunt Beth & Uncle Robert were a mainstay of family gatherings at Granny's house. Say hi to Mom for me, Aunt Beth. I'll be seeing you again before we know it.

I'll miss you Elizabeth you were more then my mentor in life. You taught me everything I needed to become a wonderful teacher like you and to love all children. You were a great friend and you eill be truly missed. God took you to Heaven so you can continue to be the greatest teacher even there.

God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies those He called. He called one of His perfect children home to Heaven. He called you!!
Well kid, Bud, I guess the folks were right as I am the very last of the living of our immediate family. Honestly thought if would be me that you would be saying good-bye to especially after the recent health issues. J will always cherish the few "really good" times we had. I dish we could have been closer as I tried my best for that but with our age difference, I think it may have been prohibitive. Eat some of Mama's pot roast and Daddy's Fridsy night steak for me as you now don't have to worry about your teeth. I will cherish you in my heart forever and the secrets we shared shall be eternally kept, no worries.

Hey Mom ... It's only been a few days since you have been gone but it still feels so unreal :( I know you will never see this but you will always hold a place in all of our hearts . I spent every Saturday for the last 3 months with you checking on you and making sure you were doing good .This will be my first Saturday with you not in it and I feel lost your grandkids are still asking to go see you.
