Edna "Punkie" Neal's Obituary
Edna “Punkie” Neal of Pleasanton passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020. She was born June 21, 1945, in Kerrville, TX to Charles William Haggerton and Ruth Lenora (Anderson). Punkie is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Jess & Gertrude Anderson, sister Mary Ellen Alexander, brother-in-law Glen Neal, sister-in-law Viola Neal and nephew Randy Neal.
Punkie was raised in Tuff, Texas by her grandparents who taught her the importance of family and hardwork. She enjoyed many hobbies over the years from cermanics to painting and could sew anything imagineable.
Punkie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Billy Neal, son Logan and wife Cheryl, grandchildren, Jake, Jess & wife Lydia, sister, Linda Riley and husband James, brother, R.L. Alexander and wife Donna, sister-in-law Dorothy Neal, Brother-In-Laws, Floyd Neal, Charles Currier and wife Judy, James Currier and wife Jean, numerous nieces and nephews and three great-nieces. Punkie will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 18th, 2020 @ 11 a.m. at the Atascosa County Cowboy Fellowship Church.
