Dwayne William Zettner's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dwayne William Zettner, of San Antonio, Texas. He departed to eternity at age 61 on April 22, 2024. Dwayne passed quietly after a returning battle with congestive heart issues.
The world became brighter on 3/26/1963, the day he was born. A lifelong resident of San Antonio, he graduated from Tom C. Clark high school. He then pursued his career as an auto mechanic, working his way up to a master mechanic. His last job location was at a Honda dealership.
He enjoyed traveling, Texas history, and spending time with his family and friends. We will all enjoy remembering his sense of humor and quick wit. He was full of love and a a big teddy bear.;a s his daughter Brandi said, “Dwayne was larger than life and we will always have to remember him like that”.
He is survived by his brother, Lester Zettner (Lynn); sister, Sharon Zettner; children - Brandi (Rick) Contreras, Courtney (Mitchell) Fischer, and Darren Zettner; grandchildren, Sarah, Wesley, MacKenzie, and Maverick; nephews - Paul (Trisha), Tim, and Aaron;great nephews - Jeremy, Eric, and Dawson; nieces - Ashley (Jordan), Lauren (Tim), Cara, and Heather;great nieces - Brynlee, Adeline, Aribella, and Scarlett.
Dwayne was preceded in passing by his father,Stanley Zettner and mother Alice Calle Aycock.
He will forever be lovingly remember by all who cared for him.
A private memorial celebration of his life will be announced in the future. Dwayne will be dearly missed by all of us.
