Dora G. Carrasco's Obituary
Dora G. Carrasco, born January 17, 1934, in Anson, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Carrasco; daughter, baby Rosemary Carrasco; sisters, Elena Balderas, Ninfa Mesa, and Felecita Alvarez; and brothers, Rodolfo Galvan and Lupe Galvan.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Guerra (Jerry); sons, Johnny Carrasco (Linda), Richard Carrasco (Letty), and Chris Carrasco (Irma); grandchildren, Shalynn, Jerrett, John Jr., Matthew, Clarissa, Crystal, Justin, Gina, Jordan, and Moses; along with 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was a loving homemaker who will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Poteet, TX. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Madre Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery #1.
