Donte L. Lingard's Obituary
Donte graduated from Barnwell High School. He joined the Army out of high school, serving his country honorably overseas and stateside. Donte met his soulmate and the love of his life Gabriela while in the US Army. They married on February 11th, 2011, in San Antonio, TX.
To his family he has been known as “Daddy Donte” since a young boy, but one of his greatest joys was the day he became husband and father.
He loved his family, his friends who were more like brothers than friends. Donte NEVER met a stranger. Always talking to anyone and everyone he passed by.
His hobbies included shooting his guns, riding his motorcycle, and living life to the fullest. He was an active member of a local motorcycle club and enjoyed riding as often as he could. It’s not often that you would find Donte without his boots on his feet, gun on his hip, and a good tree in his pocket.
He is survived by his wife Gabriela and his loving family.
Family will receive friends for a memorial service on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 3 to 8 pm.
