DIXIE LYNN CLAYTON GOODSON
October 15, 1947 – June 8, 2016 Dixie Lynn Clayton Goodson, longtime resident of Somerset, passed away on June 8, 2016 at the age of 68. She was born in San Antonio on October 15, 1947 to Abner “Slick” Clayton and Eaulalia “Pat” Clayton. She was married to Bobby Goodson for 38 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Goodson, parents Slick and Pat Clayton, brother Ricky Clayton, aunt and uncle Lottie and Bob Nelson, aunt Ona Dye and other aunts and uncles, grandparents and cousins. She is survived by her daughter Kelli Borbón and son-in-law John of San Antonio and daughter Bobbi Lynn Jasik and son-in-law Dennis of Pleasanton, grandchildren Hailey, Brooke, Kendall, Alec and Tori, and Boston Terrier Marie Lavou. A graveside service will be held at Waresville Cemetery, Utopia, Texas on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. with a reception immediately following at the Utopia United Methodist Church. Funeral officiant will be Pastor Chuck Crane of the Utopia United Methodist Church. Camero Funeral Home in Von Ormy is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Waresville Cemetery Assn. Inc., P.O. Box 131, Utopia, Texas 78884.
