Devon Rashawn McKinney's Obituary
A much-loved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, Devon RaShawn McKinney, 17, of Texas passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018, in Poteet Texas. He was born November 22, 2000, in San Antonio, the son of Monica Wade and Donald McKinney.
Devon worked at Bill Millers and had goals of finishing high school and joining the Army after receiving his diploma.
He is survived by his parents Monica Wade and Donald McKinney, step-father Eddie Wade, sister Jada Garza, brother Mahki Wade, grandparents, Rose and Jerry Garza of Somerset, and grandparent Mable Wade of San Antonio. He is also survived by several other siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Devon McKinney will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Camero Funeral Home in Von Ormy, Texas. Visitation will begin on September 19, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. at Camero Funeral Home and the funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. inside the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
