David C. Chapa's Obituary
David C. Chapa was called home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2024, at the age of 71. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Chapa & Enriqueta Chapa, sisters; Maria C. Ortiz, Guadalupe C. Velasquez, brothers; Ramon, Felix, Fransico, Juan, Bonificio Chapa, Grandson, Mark Anthony "Marky" Valdez. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lora Chapa, daughters, Valerie Chapa and Darlene Chapa, stepdaughters, Rachel Benavidez and Patricia Hernandez, brother, Ricardo Chapa, sisters, Cecilia C. Hernandez, Carlota C. Ortiz, Juana C. Tello, Alma C. Alvarado, 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, other family members and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, visitation will be held from 9:00 p.m. - 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Madre Dolorosa Cemetery II.
