It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danilo Gonzalez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who departed this life on September 1, 2025, at the age of 89.
Born in Villaldama, Nuevo León, Mexico, Danilo built a life rooted in hard work, family, and faith. In pursuit of a better future, he moved to the United States, where he dedicated his life to providing for his family and building a lasting legacy. By trade, he was an industrial sewing machine mechanic—skilled, precise, and passionate about his work. His dedication and craftsmanship were evident in everything he touched.
He was the devoted husband of Olga Gonzalez for 66 wonderful years—a partnership marked by love, resilience, and unwavering support. Together, they raised five children, who remember their father as a steady, loving presence and a source of strength and wisdom.
Danilo was also a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, cherishing every moment spent with his growing family. His laughter, stories, and quiet guidance will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Danilo was admired for his humility, work ethic, the deep love he held for his family and his unwavering faith. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and perseverance.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cresencio & Aurora Gonzalez and his sister, Yolanda Gonzalez.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Olga Gonzales; children, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Ruben Gonzalez (Laura), Edward Gonzalez (Monica), Olga Elder and Daniel Gonzalez (Elida); brothers, Arnoldo Gonzalez and Jose Gonzalez; grandchildren, Ysai, Isaias, Isaac, Amaris, Amzi, Kaela, Samuel, Jonathan, Jordon, Jaron, Ashtyn, Brayden, Daniel Jr, Sofia and Sarai; great grandchildren, Zayden, Damien, Xander, Nezemiah, Ezra, Eve, Abby, Olivia, Lizzy, Amara, Aliya, Jaydon, Josiah and Baby boy Zion on the way.
A visitation for Danilo will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto rd. 78211 with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM. On Friday, September 12, 2025, a Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
