Daniel J. Marquez's Obituary
On January 9, 2020, Daniel J. Marquez passed and is at peace. Mr.Marquez was born on July 21, 1950 in Beaverdam, Wisconsin to parents José and Margarita Marquez.He went to Randolph Highschool and enlisted in the Army. He fought and served this country in the Vietnam war in the 1st Calvary Division. He moved to San Antonio, Texas where he met his wife, Gloria, at a military dance and they wed shortly after. He then worked in law enforcement as an officer and later retired as a DA investigator in Bexar County. He had three children and one grandchild. He now rests with his parents, his wife, his two brothers, Vincent Marquez and George Marquez and two sisters Thomasa Marquez-Martinez and Irene Marquez-Cruz. He's survived by his children Anita Marquez-Perez, Daniel Marquez II, James Marquez, his granddaughter Alejandria Perez, his sisters in Wisconsin, Mary Marquez-Sanchez, Rachel Marquez, Gloria Marquez-Carbajal and his nieces and nephews. Daniel lived his life as he wanted till the end, in the comfort of his own home and in the loving care of his daughter Anita.
He will be remembered and forever missed.
