Daniel Vasquez Barrientes' Obituary
Daniel Vasquez Barrientes also known as “boy” to his family and “red” to his friends went to be with his Lord on June 26, 2023.
Daniel was an avid outdoorsmen, you could often find him fishing and telling stories to his family. He took up a hobby of taxidermy and was very proud of his work. In his spare time you could find him painting a portrait or spending quality time with children and grandchildren. Daniel was born to a long line of American Indians and was very proud of his heritage. He will be extremely missed by all those who knew and loved him. On February 20, 1951 Daniel was born to Daniel Barrientes and Frances V Barrientes. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Barrientes and Frances V Barrientes; Siblings, Dora Menchaca, Frank “Pancho”Barrientes, Louie Barrientes, Antonio “Nino” Barrientes. Daniel is survived by his loving family to include his children, Ernesto Daniel Barrientes and Cristina H Barrientes; Siblings, Adelina Garcia, Gloria Sanchez, Edward Barrientes, and Lydia Garcia; Grandchildren, Ramiro Silva, Aumrey Barrientes, Seona Barrientes, Catalaya Barrientes, Izabella Barrientes, Andee Barrientes, Julian Pacheco, and Jakob Pacheco; and his great friend, Joe Delgado; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Services for Mr. Barrientes will begin Friday July 7, 2023 at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel, 20567 Hwy 16 S Von Ormy TX 78073. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and conclude at 11:00 am with burial at First Memorial Park to take place immediately after.
