Cynthia Villanueva's Obituary
Cynthia Villanueva, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at the age of 40 years. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 5, 1986 to Jose D. and Brenda L. Villanueva. Cynthia was very dedicated to her work. She loved children, especially her nieces and nephews. Cynthia enjoyed collecting lemon and butterfly things. She was a "Swiftie." Cynthia is preceded in death by her brother, Joe Villanueva, Jr.; grandparents, Antonio Garza Sr., Ricardo and Beatriz Villanueva; uncle, Antonio Garza Jr. and her cousins, Rudy Villanueva and Xavier Garza. She is survived by her loving parents, Joe and Brenda Villanueva; brother, Robert Villanueva; grandmother, Evangelina Garza; nieces and nephews, Kayle, Lacey, Jazlene, Autumn, Sophia, Riley, Joe and Jonathan Villanueva; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation for Cynthia will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, June 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clare Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12th. Interment will follow at First Memorial Park.
