Cristina Gomez Rodriguez's Obituary
Cristina Gomez Rodriguez passed away peacefully at Methodist South Hospital in Jourdanton TX. Cristina went to be with her lord and savior on August 17th at the age of 57 years old.
Cristina was born to Pedro Tanguma Gomez and Julia Lucio on November 4th, 1963. Cristina is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Julio Rodriguez Jr. Cristina is also survived by her caring mother; Julia Lucio, sister; Gloria Mejias, brother; Jimmy Gomez, Sons; Julio Gomez Rodriguez III (maricella), Christopher Gomez Rodriguez (Samantha), Jaime Gomez Rodriguez (Cynthia), and Jesse Gomez Rodriguez, Daughters; Tanya Gomez Hernandez (amado jr.), Savannah Gomez Bettis (Shawn Michael), and Jennifer Lynn Gomez Rodriguez, Grandchildren; Kathyleen, Emerald, Skylar, Jacob, Mia, and Marlena Rodriguez and Liam, Leo, Liana, Layla Hernandez and Sebastian and Saint Bettis.
In her spare time you could find Cristina tending to her many flowers and plants in her garden. Cristina was a women of the outdoors. You could find her spending her vacations at the beach or even on the golden beaches of Cancun where her and her husband spent their silver anniversary. Vita (Cristina) was a wonderful cook but not as good a cook as she was a mother and role model for 8 children and 12 grandchildren. Cristina loved spending time with her big family, you could always find her planning another family event or having some good BBQ with all her kiddos. Cristina was known by her family as a strong warrior as she fought so hard not only for herself but for her whole family. Cristina had a strong love for birds, you could find her looking out the window into her garden watching all the pretty birds fly by. Vita had a golden heart and was a strong warrior unlike any other. She will forever be missed by the beautiful village she and her husband have built throughout the years of their love.
