Beloved wife of Frank Rassat; loving mother of Valerie De La Rosa of San Antonio, TX, and Carl Rassat of Poteet, TX; cherished daughter of Mary Perez Chavez of Poteet, TX, and the late Fidel De La Rosa of San Antonio, TX; precious sister of Arlene Calderon (Luz) of Addison, IL, Darlene De la Rosa-Lopez (Carlos) of San Antonio, TX, Doreen De La Rosa of Poteet, TX, Karen Benavides (Eduardo) of San Antonio, TX, Charmaine Chavez of Poteet, TX, and Cheryl Lynn Treviño (Arturo) of Poteet, TX. Adored Tía of Fidel Calderon, Larry Cardeñas Jr., Krystal, Carlos and Nicholas Lopez, Venessa and Jonathan Romero, Theresa and Alicia De La Rosa, Clifford, Davidlee, and Andrew Benavides, Jorge, Jesse, Joe and Julian Ortegas, Alfredo "Tito", A.J., Olivia, and Eric "Mikey" Treviño; Great Tía of Alexis Martinez, Mariah Martinez and Jacob Martinez, Jr. Born June 17, 1966 in Chicago, IL, she was born into eternal life April 17, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her step-father Alfredo "Honey" Chavez. Nicknamed "Baby" and "Kitty" by her family, her ever-present smile, infectious laugh and beautiful eyes warmed the hearts of all who knew her. She took pride in doing crafts, refurbishing furniture and sewing, loved to bake and cook for family and friends and play with her treasured dogs, Bruce and Rudy. Well known for her positivity and generous spirit, she made the decision to give the gift of life through Organ and Tissue Donation.
