Catarino had a compassion for working in construction with heavy machinery. At work they called him CAT. He worked in construction for over 50 years; Olmos, Frank Paving & M&M Construction, just to name a few. He was dedicated to his family and was a hard worker. Catarino always provided for his family and was forced to stop working because of his health up to 3 months ago, he passed away at the age of 76.
Catarino enjoyed his hobbies and spending time watching wrestling, old western movies, football on Sundays, listening and singing to his music, eating at Bud Jones, and loved playing cards and dominoes. He loved telling jokes "chistes" just to make others laugh. He loved all his children, especially his grandchildren, that brought him a lot of joy. Catarino was a well respected man and he would give a lot of advice to others, showed them how to handle situations and be alert and cautious of their surroundings.
Catarino accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2019,and 2024 he was baptized. His faith in God was a guidance in life. He would mention that he was lifting all his children and their families to God in prayer. As he spoke I could hear the blessings he would release over us. It gives us great joy and comfort in knowing he is at peace with his heavenly father.
