Carmen J. Rangel's Obituary
Carmen J. Rangel was born on July 16, 1942 in Waring, Texas and passed away on September 7, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas.
Mom had a long career at a local hospital in San Antonio. Mom's hobbies were arts and crafts. and she was always decorating for the holidays every year. She liked to go fishing and camping and loved watching the San Antonio Spurs and loved her Green Bay Packers. She loved her dogs Roxy and Boo-boo. She also loved being with her children and grandchildren, especially her great grandchildren and family members. She has 33 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Thank you to her granddaughters Jennifer, Valerie, Susie, Sabrina and others for always being there for her. Mom had a big heart and always took care of her family.
Carmen is preceded in death by the father of her children, Alejandro Rangel; parents, Urbano and Virginia Jaimez; sisters, Adela Francis, Nora Salinas, Alice Charlotte Jaimez; brother, Jesse Jay Jaimez; daughters, Thelma Rangel and Tina Rangel. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Darlene) Rangel, Virginia Chavez, Victor (Lisa) Rangel, Alex Rangel; and brother, Raymond (Bonny) Jaimez.
God has came to take mom and has left us with the memories and lessons learned from her, she will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Mom.
A visitation will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Camero Funeral Home at City Base 3706 S WW White Rd. San Antonio, Tx 78222 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m.
