Brenda Lee Lopez's Obituary
Brenda Lopez, 52, born January 19, 1973, was called home to rest on Tuesday April 8, 2025. She fought a long battle of cancer for 6 years and was the strongest most positive woman ever. She is preceded in death by her mother Sylvia Brown Lopez. She is survived by her father, Filiberto Albert Lopez; her 3 loving children Leo Hernandez, Megan Hernandez, & Shannon Hernandez. Her 7 grandchildren whom she loved more than anything in this world, Ayden Lopez, Aerian Lopez, Ilaya Oliva, Michael Hernandez, Kameron Hernandez, Mason Boudreaux, and Baby R. She was a stay-at-home grandma, mom and daughter in the past couple of years when things started getting bad with her cancer. Prior to that, she was a substitute teacher at Pleasanton ISD. She loved subbing with all her heart and gained so many relationships with her students. She was so sad when she had to take a break from it (not knowing she would never make it back) In her earlier years she worked at Reds Barn, Walmart and Cornell Carriers where she gained many more friendships and relationships with people who gravitated to her. She enjoyed life to the fullest and showed us what true strength and love was each and every day she was here. She loved spending time with her grandkids and loved to watch them grow and play sports every chance she could. Everyone who knew her knows she was the absolute best grandma in the world whose faith in the Lord was so amazing. She has a heart of gold and will never be forgotten. Until we meet again mom. We love you to heaven and back. Visitation will begin Friday April 11, 2025, at 9am with burial to follow at 11:30am at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
