Betty Lee Gaydos' Obituary
Betty Lee Gaydos, 84, of Leming, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. She was born December 13, 1935 in Shertz, TX to Albert Walter Lux and Ella Eisenhower Lux.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Gaydos Fransen of Port Lavaca, and Christina Kay (Larry Phelps) Gaydos of Leming, grandson Jonathan (Becky) Fransen of Kenedy, and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jim Gaydos, Jr., sister Stella Kelley, brother Melvin Lux, sister Lorine Gaydos, and brother-in-law Robert Gaydos. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. She was confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in San Antonio. She loved raising birds and sewing. With her family, she ran Lily White Laundry in San Antonio. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2020, at the St. John Lutheran cemetery, 1402 Clamp Ave, Jourdanton. Pastor officiating is Pastor Pat Zepeda; pallbearers are Jonathan Fransen, Larry Phelps, and August Gaydos. Flowers will be accepted at the graveside location. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to the family to offset funeral and medical expenses, or Lighthouse for the Blind (https://www.salighthouse.org/donate/).
