Beatrice R. Mendez's Obituary
Beatrice R. Mendez, born January 6, 1928 in Taft, Texas to Reynaldo Rodriguez and Carolina Alvarado Rodriguez, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Mrs. Mendez was a former resident of Pleasanton, Texas. Mrs. Mendez was preceded in death by her brothers, Reynaldo Rodriguez, Jr. and Ruben Rodriguez. She is survived by her sons, Sylvester Mendez, Roy Mendez, and Joe Alex Mendez; daughters, Gloria Guajardo and Beatrice Bosquez; brothers, Manuel Rodriguez, Roger Rodriguez, Henry Rodriguez and Margarito Rodriguez; sister, Tillie Montenegro; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also nephews, nieces, and other family members. Mrs. Mendez was an excellent seamstress who enjoyed sewing items ranging from blankets to elaborate wedding dresses, always adding a special touch to the item she was creating. She also liked to garden and tend to her roses. Mrs. Mendez will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held Wednesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 626 Market Street, Pleasanton. Everyone is to meet at Church.
